Biography: Barham Sabir Mahmood was born on August 18, 1988 in Sulaimaniyah, Kurdistan Region of Iraq. He received a bachelor’s degree with honors in petroleum engineering from Koya University in July, 2011 and a master’s degree in the same major from Heriot-Watt University in September, 2014. His current placement is with Koya University as an assistant lecturer in petroleum engineering department. He is interested in waterflooding, enhanced oil recovery, and reservoir characterization.
