Biography:

Prof. Dr. Ibtisam Kamal has more than 30 years experience in teaching, research, service and academic leadership in Iraqi and French universities. She has expertise in modeling, optimization and simulation of chemical and petroleum engineering processes including biofuel manufacturing from natural resources and wastes. She has participated in numerous international conferences and has authored two patents one of them European, and dozens articles in reputed journals. Other scientific activities include consultations and member of consultant boards in Iraq industry facilities. Member of Editorial boards and reviewer for International and National journals. Supervision of 15 MSc thesis and 5 PhD thesis in the field of specialty.
