Biography:

Dr. Mahfouz is born on September 1985 in Hawraman, Kurdistan, Iran. He is now a lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering of Soran University. He completed his BSc in 2006 in applied mathematics at University of Tabriz, Iran, then started his MSc in geometry in the department of mathematical science at Isfahan University of Technology and obtained his MSc on December 2009. In 2010 after accepted as the 1st ranked student in geometry PhD entrance exam he started his PhD in geometry at Isfahan University of Technology. Then for a part of his PhD project he was invited to Technical University of Munich, Germany, Universities of Brescia (Cattolic and Degli Studi), Italy and university of Hamburg, Germany in 2013 and there he cooperated with researchers from Germany, Italy and Iran. After that, Dr. Mahfouz received his PhD degree on June 2014. He was a math lecturer since 2008 to 2017 in Iranian universities: Isfahan University of Technology, Palayesh University of Isfahan, Payam-e-Noor University of Sanandaj, Maad University of Sanandaj and University of Kurdistan, Sanandaj. Since

2018 he is a math lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering of Soran University.

Dr. Mahfouz has published more than six papers in international journals and participated in several international conferences and workshops. He also awarded scholarship from Iranian ministry of research and sciences and German Exchange Academic Service (DAAD) for his studies.
