Civil engineering at DCVE/ Soran University provides you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to enter an industry that, at its core, makes modern society work. The three-year course not only leads to a Bachelor of Engineering qualification, but also equips you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to enter an industry that, at its core, makes modern society work.

You will get a good grasp of fundamental areas such as structural analysis, hydraulics, geotechnics, building materials, engineering design project management, and mathematics over the first two years of our Civil Engineering program.

The Civil Engineering Department offers a well-balanced undergraduate curriculum that aims to produce graduates who are capable of addressing challenges with fixed, and frequently restricted, resources. The civil engineering program emphasizes the application of cutting-edge skills, a thorough grasp of engineering concepts, the capacity to communicate, and the preparedness for lifelong study. Graduates of the undergraduate degree are well-prepared to enter the practice of civil engineering or pursue additional study in any of the civil engineering specialities. The department offers students with the support they need to reach their greatest potential within the framework of their own personal experiences and the profession's expectations.

Junior engineers join the planning, design, construction, and supervision of infrastructure that is vital to everyday life, such as buildings, transportation systems, airports, irrigation systems, water supplies, and environmental protection facilities, as graduates of the civil engineering school.

Furthermore, you will research these issues using our excellent facilities and equipment. In your final year, you will do an independent research project, in which you will have the freedom to explore developing topics such as renewable energy systems and resource efficiency and management.

You will be prepared to enter civil engineering professions after completing the course; the degree completely meets the educational requirements for becoming an Incorporated Engineer and partially meets the requirements for becoming a Chartered Engineer.

Following that, a program of authorized Further Learning can be undertaken.
