The SUN Engineering Career Development Center (ECDC) is a part of Soran University (SUN) Career Center. The ECDC provides a one-stop shop for engineering students seeking opportunities for career and professional development. The ECDC comprises the Career Center satellite office for engineering students, as well as the Cooperative Education (Co-op) program. The ECDC is located in FENG Level 3.

Cooperative Education Program (Co-op)

Cooperative Education (Co-op) is a dynamic academic program that offers students opportunities for professional experience before graduation. Co-op students participate in alternating periods of full-time employment and full-time study. Through Co-op, students gain relevant experience, acquire career skills, and earn competitive salaries. Students maintain full-time status and earn priority course registration each semester through graduation.

ECDC services

• Career consulting to include materials preparation, application and interview assistance, networking guidance, internship and postgraduate job search assistance, and more

• Opportunities for professional placement through the Cooperative Education program and on-campus career fairs

• On-site interviews and employer engagement, Skype interview facilities, and other resources strengthening relationships between students and employers
